Valentines Day! Last day of the tour today. We got on the coach for the final time (thank god!) and travelled back to Christchurch, stopping at Geraldine on the way. Once in Christchurch we got a taxi to Base hostel in the centre with Mia and Martina, and got ready to go out. Then we headed back to the Bealey hotel, where most of the tour was staying, and had a goodbye dinner and lots of drinks! Another taxi took us to Shooters club, where we stayed for the rest...

Come on England! We had another early start today as we travelled on the ferry to Picton on the South Island. My first impression was that it is much prettier here than the North Island, with really varying scenery. We had a long day of driving, making stops to see a seal colony and for a 'comfort break'.
