After a not so great sleep - the little clay hut was extremely hot - we got ready nice and early again and went off in our little car to the next town on our tour of Rajasthan - Jodphur (like the riding trousers!) It was another 6 hour drive through the countryside of India but the roads were a great improvement on those we've travelled on so far! We are now following a couple who are also on the same type of tour as us - so Yogi our driver no longer gets lost (he's never done the tour before) This new driver we are following knows all the places to stay so he has checked us into a good hotel - after a debate over the fact we cant pay for expensive places that im sure he didnt believe us over! We were dropped off outside the market in the town and told to be back in 2hours - we really are being controlled! Going to make sure we change that tho! Well this market was unlike those ive seen in other countries - there were tuk tuks/cars/bikes/cows/people every where it was so noisey and busy - a little overwwhelming! There were stalls full of 1000s of colourful bangles, spices, bags, wall hangings (we brought two!) After wandering around for an hour we started to walk back towards the car on the way tho we dumped into a group of lads that had been on our camel tour the night before so had a wander round with them - markets are so much better when men are around - no where near as much hassle we found out! Tho we did obey our orders and got back to the car after 2hours! Back in the hotel we met some other travellers and stayed up chatting to them - all having very similar experiences with being sold a car tour in Delhi so made us feel alot better!! We went to bed feeling quite happy - always nice spending time with new people (not that me and rach arent getting on brilliantly!! hehe)
