Our bus trip to Singapore was disappointly not as good as all the other we've had in Malaysia - the seats were still first class but our driver spoke no English and just seemed to bark down the bus - this was a problem for us as we needed to get off twice at the borders between Malaysia and Singapore to have our passports checked and both times we didn't have a clue what was happening/where to go/where to get back on the bus! We have now made our way across to an island off the west coast of Malaysia called Penang. We are staying in a town called Georgetown. Yesterday we decided to be right tourists and go on a day tour around all the sights. We saw a very large chinese temple up in the hills, a thai temple, a burmese temple, botanical gardens, a coffee shop (they gave us lots of lovely free samples), a pet store...very random i know...but they had gorgeous puppies that we coooed over...

We are now up in the Cameron Highlands - when we arrived up here it was raining (the heaviest rain i think ive ever seen!!) - we got soaked trying to our room!
