I have had a lovely few days in franz Josef despite the awful weather! We spent the two days chilling in hot tub, cooking meals and having drinks at the bar. I was hoping to do the 'ice explorer' trip which involved a helicopter ride up the franz Josef glacier and exploring the ice caves, however due to the bad storms we couldn't go up on the helicopter!
