Had an amazing day today we went to the Great Barrier Reef, to Michaelmas Cay. We had to be at the boat at 7:30 for check in. When we got on the katamaran they informed us that the wind was 25+ knots, so the journey out was going to be bumpy, which it was! I can't believe I'm finally in Australia!! If was so exciting when I first saw it from the plane. It's still quite surreal that were actually here. After the horrendously long flight, being cooped up inside for 28 hours and unable to sleep at all on the 2nd flight, it was just the best to arrive to the sunshine, though obviously we were not expecting the extreme heat that met us.
