I can't believe I'm finally in Australia!! If was so exciting when I first saw it from the plane. It's still quite surreal that were actually here. After the horrendously long flight, being cooped up inside for 28 hours and unable to sleep at all on the 2nd flight, it was just the best to arrive to the sunshine, though obviously we were not expecting the extreme heat that met us. It is so hot and humid even when the sun isn't out! An immediate change of clothes was needed!
Emms had to declare that she had a sandwich and we all had to have our bags sniffed by a sniffer dog, all fine there, we were leaving but actually started going into their offices, so we had to be redirected to the actual exit. We were met by the bus driver and he took us to our hostel. We have a massive room just to us which is nice but still boiling!!
Today we walked into the town had lunch, restrained ourselves from going crazy in the souvenier shops, went to the beach and just tried not to crash from tiredness!
We've booked up some activities for the weekend, and tomorrow will be spent sunbathing, can't wait to get tanned!
