Had a lush nights sleep in a nice cosy bed with a proper duvet and a nice shower without having to wear flip flops! Becca's family here are so nice and welcoming and we had a really lovely dinner cooked for us last night, it was such a nice change from our pasta with a different sauce each night! They also have a really cute son called Will who is 4. Today we didn't get up to early and we did a lot of washing! So nice to have all our clean clothes and not having to pay to wash them. We had breakfast and then about lunch time went to Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary where we got to cuddle a koala! It was lush, they are a lot heavier than they look and their fur has an odd texture, but we of course got some lush photos taken! We then went and fed some kangaroos, that was cool, but they are very slobbery, we also saw them hopping which is just so funny! Other animals we saw included wombats, tasmanian devils, possums, platypus, some deadly snakes and turtles. Bought a couple of things in the souvenir shop which I probably didn't need! We then got picked up and got ready to go out to dinner which we were going to buy, but Becca's cousin bought it instead! We then stopped at an ice cream parlour which had the best ice cream, it was amazing, so many different, odd flavours, we got a little excited and had to have our pictures taken! I had bubblegum flavour which tasted so much like bubblegum it was weird, you were also allowed to just try the ice creams so we tried cookies and cream, doughnut, cake mix etc! We've just had a quiet, chilled evening, we're thinking of going out tomorrow and meeting up with Kim as she is also staying with family in Brisbane, so that should be good. Not too sure what we'll get up to in the day, but we'll find something to do as the weather isn't predicted to be too good!
