Yesterday we left Westport, and made our way to Lake Mahnipua (not sure of the spelling!). We did quite a few walks. Yesterday we woke up to snow peaked mountains! It was beautiful, we hadn't seen them the night before as we had arrived in the night to Kaikoura! Luckily felt no aftershocks in Christchurch, we are now in Kaikoura, though only for one night, as due to the buses annoyingly not running everyday, we either have to stay 1 or 3 nights, and we don't have time to stay for 3!
