Went out to the Blue Mountains today which were beautiful. We started off the day with a 3h long walk through the mountains, we went down a long way, which obviously meant it was a trek all the way back up! The walk was so tiring, but the scenery was lush, we saw lots of pretty waterfalls, and had to walk down some seriously steep steps. We also put our feet in a freezing cold plunge pool, hard to beleive water in Australia could be so cold. After the exhausting walk back up, we got some yummy ice cream, and went for lunch. We stopped off at several more look out points, including the 3 Sisters (or 7 Sisters to the Aboriginals, which were named as such to represent the 7 important stars in the constallation) called 3 Sisters by white setellers as they could only see 3 stones. They were amazing, but it's a shame because it's so touristy compared to other places we visited today, and it had used to be the birth place for aboriginal women from one tribe, but obviously not anymore! Stopped off at a couple more locations and ended at the Flat Rock, which true to its name was very flat, with a sheer drop 700m down! Took lots of pictures obviously, then the 2 hour bus ride back to Sydney, cooked dinner and now just chilling, we were going to go out but were all pretty tired and can't really be bothered!
