Was nice to be woken up the sun shining and a free breakfast at the hostel! We (including the Italian Mara in our room) went out quite early, we walked through the Botanical Gardens, to Lady Macquarie's Chair, which is an amazing look out point over the harbour, so we got some great photos in the sun of the Opera House and Harbour Bridge, it's quite surreal seeing them in real life! We were so jealous of the local people just strolling through on their way to work with such an amazing sight everyday! It was so gorgeous to see our first proper view of Sydney in the sunshine! we then walked round to the Opera House, and were going to take a ferry, but it was an hour and half and as it was so nice we wanted to go to the beach and sunbathe! We ate lunch in the botanical gardens and then got our swimmers and got the very expensive bus with several very rude bus drivers to Bondi Beach, which was beautiful, and there were so many people surfing the massive waves! So we sunbathed the rest of the afternoon and dipped our feet in the sea which was so warm, weather tomorrow is looking hopeful too, and were going out on a day tour to the Blue Mountains, can't wait. Hoping the weekend will be sunny too, but some rain is forecast :(
