Chiang Mai 10th May - 12th May 2012

Back in Thailand after a hellish 18 hour minibus journey - it is nice to see some normal things. The first stop was MaccyDs!!! Then headed back to our guesthouse where we had a few drinks and headed to bed. After a goodnights sleep we got up at went to tiger kingdom which was an amazing experience. We decided not to go elephant trekking as all the elephants seemed to be getting harmed and I didn't want to pay money to see the elephants getting hit. That evening we decided to go out (although the bars do not stay open very late) But we got drunk and the great idea of flying from Chiang Mai to Phuket seemed to come into place, so the following morning I woke up early and booked Gordon, Jackie and myself on a plane for the following evening. I was so so excited to be going back to Phi Phi, there's something about the place that makes me love it. During the day we just walked around Chiang Mai - it is beautiful until heading to the airport. We landed in Phuket around 1am found somewhere to stay and got some sleep before having to get up early again to get the 11am ferry across to Phi Phi.
