Phi Phi Island 13th May - 17th May 2012
Back on the ferryboat - this time it was very quite (well you could walk around the boat for a change). After 45 minutes Phi Phi was insight and it was time for a beer. Once on Phi Phi I headed straight back to Dee Dee's beach house - where the women recognized me and gave us a room for the three of us. I felt at home again it was great. We were all hungry so we headed to Garlic 1992 restaurant one of my favorites on the island for some lunch, then I headed to the dive center to see Frankie and see what diving was happening. That evening we headed to the Thai Boxing bar (where tourists beat each other up whilst smashed) - it was very entertaining. Then we headed down to the beach to watch a few different fire shows and headed to bed around 2am. The following day involved having a very big hangover but we woke up and went to book diving for the following day Jackie and Gordon were going to take their DSDs where as I was just diving with them. That day then got a bit odd, Jackie went missing for most of it so Gordon and I went to the Italian on the beach for dinner and then we found her with a bucket, and I said that she shouldn't drink too much as we were going diving at 7:30am. Around 11:30 I decided to go to bed and so did Gordon, Jackie decided to stay out and didn't get in till 2am. When the alarm went off Jackie said she wasn't coming diving and that she was going to New Zealand and started packing her things it was very odd. So Gordon and I headed to the dive shop without her and went diving for the day. That evening when we got back from diving Jackie had spent the day on the beach and everything was normal again it was very weird, but anyway we headed out to the bars again mainly spending most of the evening playing pool in the Irish bar before heading down to the beach party around 12. It was a 3am sleep time for me so surprisingly we didn't wake up until 12pm. The day was a bit of a waste really, as it was my last day on Phi Phi I wanted to sit on the beach and top up the tan but it decided to rain all day so I read my book and just chilled. It was my last night in Phi Phi so obviously I decided to party hard, Frankie came out for a few drinks to say bye and then Jackie, Gordon and I headed down to the beach - not too sure what time we got in but when my alarm went off at 8 I was defiantly still drunk and not sure what was happening but I managed to get on the ferry and in the minivan to the airport, then slept in the airport for 4 hours before flying to Bangkok where I spent the night and then tomorrow I start my 16 hour journey home to the cold.
