Hey

After leaving PHi Phi which we didn't really want to do as we loved it there we got on a boat to Phuket. Vicky has made herself seasick now after the hungover experience on the boat!!! Got tp phuket and were a bit shocked at how busy it was and having to contend with roads again with actual cars on them! Stayed on Patong beach which is the livelier part of Phuket, got on the beach for the day but it was a bit overcast then started raining in the afternoon.

Decided to walk and do a bit of shopping as we are just about getting to grips with bartering...not sure if we are that great at it but its cheap anyway so who cares. We have just got used to Thai money and now we are headed to malaysia where we have to change currancy again.

HAd the worst Day and half in transfering to Malaysia from Thailand. Had to hang around Surat Thani town and Train Station for a total of about 13 hours where there is not a lot to do. Sarah had 2 weirdos come up to her one trying to give her her baby and another bloke both talking thai at her....i was glad it wasn't me!!!!!!! i was rather scared and for me not to hold a baby just goes to show how scared i was!! but it was funny now you look back on it.

Had our first experience of a sleeper train and could just fit down the aisle with our bags!! Well i say sleep it was for about 3 hours then all the THai's wake up at first light! and make lots of noise. Arrived in Malaysia or shoud i say Pennang and got a ferry across which was scary as pigeons lived on it. Got a taxi to our hostel only to find we were a little over charged and our booking hadn't been confirmed as we onlty booked it online last nite. Its all good as we have a room anyway and bought some pretty things....think it may even be cheaper than thailan!!! ANd went on a rickshaw with a poor old man peddeling the 2 of us so we felt bad and made him pull over early and i think he got abit offended. MAde his day though as we took pics of him.
