Singapore is a wicked city read our postcard to see what we got upto, managed to get a good deal on a wicked camera(its the one where the dog has it in its mouth, slobbering all over it cos its waterproof) not sure if you get that advert? both really pleased with it, Guess what?..... we finally managed to put photos on the site theres loads of new ones on there, couldnt believe how quick the connection was, only problem is we cant put the photos on from our dive course and all the underwater shots, hopefully get it sorted soon. Some arent the best quality as for 3 weeks wevwe been using disposables!!

Hads a manic night night in Chinatown last night celebrating there new year!! the streets were packed. Today were going back into the city to t6he museum, and galleries, botanic gardens, then tommorrow weregetting a bus to Melakka its about 5 hrs away. speak soon xx

Havent been getting the email to let us know you have updated, so wenton randomly and found like 3/4 huge fun filled entries!! you guys sound like you have had a well wicked time!! just making us jealous we didnt go up north, instead we were stuck on the slightly less glamorous sunshine coast that really started to wear thin after a fortnight!!

Have moved our flights now so we are going to NZ tmw!! yey!! just saw the scissor sisters in Brisbane doing a signing session, and meeting a friend off the africa tour. goin to a real ozzie bbq now, uh oh!!! we dont wanna be hungover for our flight!! havent even packed yet!! they wanna play goon of fortune, somw game where you tie a bag of goon to a spinning washing line, spin it, and whoever it lands on has to skull the goon!!! ahhhh

Arrived in Singapore last night, I was so glad to get off the plane, 7 hr flight with the worst hangover ever. With frequent trips to the toilet accompanied by my new best friend mr sick bag!! Toby was fine and loving the free tiger beer on the plane, just the whiff of it sent me rushing to the toilet (toothpaste in hand think the air hostess thought i ocd!!) We had celebrated our last night n Australiain style, after finding $400 in the street, we brought some pink champagne and watched a thunderstorm from the hostel balcony, we had moved into the town to Global Palace for the night it was just opposite the Woolshed (big mistake!!)main backpacker club in town. it was a wicked hostel especially compared to the work site one we had just left! The rain finally stopped for a few minutes and we rushed over to the Woolshed with our free tickets, unfortunately for me and caroline it was ladies night, so free champagne for the rest of the night. This proved to be fatal mistake, we gulped it down with glee!!! It was an wicked night had a dance on the tables, chatted to some randoms, and laughed at the young uns, as they we trying  out all there special pulling moves on each other. 

Eventually decided it was time for a kebab,it was pissing it down again, the skys had opened up I have never experienced so much rain in my life, it was crazy we ran down to the kebab shop in the thunder we were soaked through, I had to forfeit my kebab coz had a date with the drain and toby and Caroline had to protect me from the laughing Aussies. 

 Woke up the next morning , had to put every thing into the dryers and pack up the rest of our stuff, felt like total crap, at least m\my bag is lighter now as we had sent home another package of all our excess stuff. Said our goodbyes to caroline, be sad to leave Australia after 7 months!!!

But we are ready for our next challenge, off to celebrate Chinese New Year tonight and go buy a new camera hopefully find a bargain. catch you all later x x

I've just spent the last hour or so looking thru your amazing photos of NZ... awwww.... I miss the Kiwi Bus Crew sooooo much! Would love a re-union when you guys are back!?

Sounds like you're still having an amazing time on the other side of the world! I now know what its like when people messaged me when I was away and they said that they were 'soooooo jealous' of what I was doing! :o)

I've been home for about 5 months now... studying at college in London just doesn't compare to what you guys are doing!

I think you must be off to Asia soon - you'll have even more amazing times there! I loved Vietnam... you have to visit Hoi An to get some clothes made to measure - fab!!!

Completed our 4 day PADI course!! we are now certified divers and can go off on our own. We started off yesterday by doing some more of techniques and skills including using all the diving computers and compasses.

We decided to hire a wicked underwater camera for the day but decided not to take it in for our first dive as we were still training, but on this dive we saw a lot of wicked fish, we also went down to 18m deep!! Second dive was a few more skills then our instructor gave us a quick tour showing us a huge giant clam, manta rays plus loads of awesome fish, but suddenly his air tank was leaking air and he was out of air!!! he had to buddy share with v!! huge adrenalin rush, luckily we had praciced this skill, so after he fixed his tank on the sea bed we carried on. On our 3rd dive we had now passed the course so were allowed to go off on our own!!!! bit scary!!! didnt take too many photos as we were concentrating on our diving saw some cool stuff though, not as much as the day before when we saw turtles and a huge maori rass!! Both very pleased with our selves. got 3 cds of photos to put on the site but the uploader isnt working sorry guys!!!

Today we are rushing round getting sorted for asia!! leaving tomorrow!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well were nearly pro- divers now, passed our PADI open water course, by the end of tomorrow we will be certified divers and will be able to go diving on our own. How cool. Had our first open water dives today on the Great Barrier Reef, it was amazing to see a whole new world under there. We went down 12meters/36ft. After our Reef Teach course that we did last night with a rather crazy irish marine biologist called Paddy. We were able to identify all the corals and fish, saw hundreds of different types including, chocolate dipped fish, parrot, trigger, pipe, bat, angel, butterfly and clown fish, Saw a huge Maori fish with the little ones that swim along cleaning it on it. Best of all we saw a huge turtle (we were spoilt) Spend most of the dives working on techniques and practicing all our new skills, but tomorrow we are allowed to go crazy with the camera on our free dive. We have hired a wicked underwater camera especially for tomorrow so we can capture the reef in its beautiful entirity. 400 photos to take should keep us busy!!!

hey guys, we met u on Magnetic island and saw a toad race... looking back at some of the photos i would like to apologise for my behaviour, went a bit mental i think. hope all is good and that u saw some koalas while u were there... how is cairns going? also we are travelling to New Zealand and only have 15 days but due to flights will have to see both islands anyway, just wondering if u have any tips or reccommendations for us when we go in early april. hopefully hear from u at some point...George

Hey v and toby, I hope you are having an awesome time diving, I bet it is amazing don't let any worries take you away from this great opportunity. I was wondering where you might be by the 1st April to the 16th April, I have easter holidays away from school and it could be a great opportunity to travel for 2 weeks and see you. The destination might be too far away and I would like to go to Trets early April, however it could be a good time to see you both so is worth looking into, hey! Well, please let me know as soon as possible, missing you take care lots of love Becsxx

I've been raving it up in London over the last few weeks - went to a Warehouse party last night with Burnside. I'm really getting into ambient techno right now.

Are you guys in LA at some point? I'll be there at the end of April for Coachella Music Festival which is going to totally rock.
