Firstly I would like say a great big sorry for not posting a message on here for quite some time... however, I am now here (a little drunk from the festive cheer so please excuse me if I spell things wrong). Well your weather is looking slightly better than back here in ode England, no snow but plenty of fog and icy chills. I spent the weekend with my family and then travelled to Cambridge to spend Christmas at Andy's parents in Cambridge. It's been really nice. We got so many presents this year it was like being a kid again, great stuff!!! What did Santa buy you pair?
We are both off to Thailand tomorrow, we fly at 9.25pm from Heathrow, stop off in Columbo (Sri Lanka) for a day and a night and carry on to Bangkok. We then have internal flights to Surat Thani where apparantly (according to Nick) a little man will be waiting for us to take us over to Koh Pan Ghan where we shall be attending one of the infamous full moon parties...so wish us luck!
I have been writing the next exciting installment of East Midlands Gossip for you, however, my work have banned hotmail (booOOO) and I'm not supposed to send personal emails from my work account. I have written about 7pages in word so far so daren't send it incase I get caught. I think we will be getting our laptops back soon so I will be able to get that over to you...an exciting treat for 2007 me thinks!
Well thought I would send a short and sweet message to you both before we depart for a couple of weeks. We are back in England on 11th January so will post a new meeage and hopefully send you some pics (from Andy's new camera his brilliant girlfrind bought him for xmas!)
Andy is currently watching the Arsenal match with his family downstairs but he sends his love to you both (he's actually scared of posting a message on this board as he knows everyone can read it...shhh don't say I said). Your both looking gorgeous...especially you Verina...Toby...what can I say..???? That beard is an absolute beaut!!! I told Andy about it and I think he's pretty jealous of the competition..
Anyway you two, I will mail with even more gossip to add to your update so keep checking your emails....
Miss you both sooooo much, Merry Christmas and a very happy 2007 (cus you get to see me...), stay safe...
Love Gem (hic) and Andy xxxxxxxx

Hope you all liked the websites?? we make quite good elves dont you think?? Just put more photos on the site check them out after youve read this update.
As you all known were back in Fremantle WA now, feels like our 2nd home! The weather is so much hotter over here, its great over 30oC everyday!! havent been doing loads this week as we are both just loving not working again been on the beach quite alot and taking our favourite dogs Jatz and Shamu for long walks, also been helping heather (v's aunt) with lots of jobs around the garden, we cleaned and sorted out the hot tub, been using that alot!! oohhh its a hard life! also fixed the pond and tidied up the garden, cleaned the bbq(found a few redback spiders!!) ready for crimbo, helped dress the xmas tree, so weve been keeping ourselves busy.
Also had a few trips to the pool going to Aqua Fit, just trying to keep cool as its so hot. Went to see Louise's graduate degree show, her Jewellery was amazing, had some lovely nibbles and a free bar (bonus!)
Heather took us out for lunch the other day, went out into the perth hills about 1 hrs drive to this picturesque winery and restaurant called the Packing Shed(used to be an old apple packing shed!) it was so peaceful and couldnt have been in a better setting. Had a wonderful lunch there and a few bottles of wine, heather was quite drunk couldnt stop singing!!
We als got invited to watch a band at Clancy's Fish Bar, called The New Age Sensitive Cowboys they are an old band from Fremantle but are well known as a blue-grass band and put on a good show!! Hillariously funny.
Then went to an OC style party at Hillarys nr Cottesloe beach where Toby met another Toby from the Isle of Wight (only 30 years older and a millionaire his family own Bonhans auctioners in London) who swapped a few travel tips with us.
This morning we went and had a fry up at Coogee beach to cure our hangovers as we had 2 xmas parties last night, we went over to see some of Jess's family for Maria and Bruces birthday. Alex was back from Europe and Bec's has had her baby little Grace who was gorgeous! Hopefully will meet up with Catherine and Amy around xmas. SO had a lovely time there and then returned to Forrest Street verge party. Its so nice the whole street all the neighbours bring out there chairs and have a BBQ and party in the road catching up, getting drunk and then stumbling home 2 mins into your houses.
If we don't speak to you before hope you all have a wonderful xmas, thinking of you all and missing you. Looking forward to seeing you in the New Year
love Toby and Verina x x x x
