Hello everyone, looks like we're all getting a bit slack at leaving messages, just been so busy at work, doing loads of hours its starting to take its toll!! its the spring carnival here at the moment everyone is obsessed with the horses and fashion!! i'll be at the races but working on standby in case anything goes wrong( basically be sitting round drinking champagne all day)

Verina's just gone off to work in the shoe shop till 5 then i start work at 5 tonight and then at 6am on monday!! Been doing lots of 12 hr days seen so much of victoria as ivem been doing lots of private jobs were you have to travel lots, theyve asked me if iwant to go and work in new south wales for a month all expenses paid plus they give me $70 a day living expenses!! cant do it though as its in jan and we'll be leaving melbourne then.

Eventhough weve been saving money still managed to squeeze a few nights out in, had quite a few bbqs round friends. Verina works every sat and sun at the shoe shop so dont even get the weekends togetherm, she'll be leaving there in 2 weeks and starting back at her old job in the city, better $ and hours. she cant wait.

Weather starting to get really hot now had a few days over 37 already on average about 25, its the first time ever that im browner than V!! V has started running on her days off around albert park its where they do the grand prix and all the athletes train.

Both really looking forward to finishing work now about another 6 weeks to go!! then we start our way up the east coast, started to plan ther journey, probably going to rent another camper. anyway i best go v has written me a list of things i have to do before work!! would be good to hear from some of you. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Hi baby, how you guys doing? Well it looks like your both having an amazing time, i'm so jealous you wouldn't believe especially now i am freezing my ass off!! So when you guys coming back, i'm missing you so much, refuse to go out in Derby without you, so i'm having to make do with Grantham and it's shocking, well i guess it's not that bad, only been out here twice so far, so thought i'd give another go next week, then maybe if i think it's up to scratc you'll both have to come visit and we'll have a night out there. Hi Verina - Can't beleive that you are still out there.  When are you coming home.  Well I finished working at Mickleover Uni. at the end of August and am well into the Occupational Therapy course.  It's good, but it's straining my brain!  There are some great people on the course, have a good laugh them.  Not been out much - what with all the studying. Went to a wedding on Saturday which was good - thought that it might be a good opportunity to find my prince charming, but all the available men were mutants!  Never mind!  Take care and keep posting the photos - it reminds me of summer - it's bloody freezing here. Got Jason round so just thought we'd have a quick check up to see how you're doin. Seems like you've been up to plenty since last time. Haven't been doin much. Just played a tense game of Battleships. I thought it was hilarious when I got off to a flyer but eventually Jason's steely nerves won the day. Grrrrr.

Just had six days off but I'm back in at work tonight, not the ideal way to spend a Sunday night. It's going OK though and the money's much better than what I'm used to. We have a pretty good laff anyway. Can't really say I miss Safeway much anyway.

Not much else really. You know how it is! Loads of lurrrrrrrrrrve from us both, espescially Jason!

 We just put some more photos on today, had a wicked spare of the moment night last night managed to score some tickets for the Tri-nations Australia vs New Zealand game at the Telstra dome, we went with half the workforce of Harry the hirer,!! All met up had a few beers before the match (not pissed again i hear you say mothers!! don't worry keeping the drinking strictly to the weekends) both working loads toby is seeing the whole of Melbourne doing lots of private jobs out and about. I start a new job on tuesday, had a lovely leaving drinks with the office on Friday night, was sad to leave them but might go back for a couple of weeks.

Hi kids at last we have managed to find you again. Sorry about the mixup with the phone I cant get throu on the number. Do u not have a land line at work I can arrange to ring in your lunch hour or something. Had a lazy day to day.cycled to whitstable to meet bec to visit a couple of the artist open houses that started this week  Then had atfernoon tea with nick and maxine. Cycled back along the seafront in the dark. There was a very strong wind blowing into us and it was quite scary. Bec off to Wendys wedding this weekend and Dad and I are having a couple of days in Lyme Regis weekend of the 28th.  Everything ticking over as usual. Tragedy last weekend when Graham Walkers brother in law (Jennys brother) was knocked of his motorbike by a drunk driver and killed. He leaves a family of 6 and a couple of foster kids. Graham is really cut up about it and so we have been cancelling clinics while he sorts things out like the funeral etc.  Do y see the new X factor a lad from Whitstable, Ben is down to the last 11 He has a firm that erects marquees when he's not singing!! Simon Cowell reckons he is one of the best talent they have ever had. Well shows how little there is to report if I have to prattle on about X factor. Both grannys are fine. Diet has gone down the pan again so its time to sign off. Watch that sun now, dont get burnt the pair of u  and watch out for nasties in the sea if you start swimming. Dont want u as dinner for some marauding shark. Glad to hear that you are staying on in Oz for the new Year at least. Thailand sounds a bit dodgy at the moment. so relieved ur staying put .Good to use as much of your visa time as possible while u can. Hi guys, sounds like you having an amazing time, wish we were there, alright for some, its nice and misty over here! Becs is still looking for work and going for interview in a school Tuesday - hello got involved in an arts company called animate which has been really interesting and creative. Jack- i don't know if you voted or not but  PKO managed to get into the final of the KMFM battle of the Bands! so were doing that on the 26th, and i'm dead chuffed and waiting to show the world wot we can really do!!

Hi All, hope that you are all well!! we haven't written a proper message together for ages so thought we would give you an update on what we've been up to recently!! wel the summer is definately on its way to Melbourne it was nearly 37C on Weds Toby was working out in it the whole day whilst I was in the office (with goose pimples - air conditioning is pretty cold!!) so toby is over taking me in the tanning i.e he has got a true 'council' tan with tshirt marks very brown face and im whiter than ever!!!  toby is working at flemington race course where they hold the melbourne cup races, its huge they have loads of Marquees so plenty of work to do, he's been getting up early starting at 7 am some days, doing over 90 hours in the last 2 wks, its such high tax tho so quite abit of our pay gets taken (have to claim it back when we've finished!!) he's working with lots of travellers, they get to have a few beers and bbq on friday so its cool.  We had a random txt message from Jason the other day to say Toby had been spotted by a girl from the Isle of Wight that they used to go to school with, but she wasnt sure if it was definately him, so she txt her friend at home, who then txt Jason to ask if he was in Melbourne??? How freaky is that, her name was Sian Matthews and she was staying in the Coffee Palace hostel 2 mins up the road from us, so we'd like to say hi to Sian we had a wicked night at the hostel drinking a box of goone (cheap aussie wine!!) and taking some rather interesting ''Jumping' photos. which is always worth a laugh if you are drunk and armed with a digital camera and a few steps, i would recommend it apart from Im officially a p**** as I cant jump of more than 3 steps at a time (loser). Ended up drinking til 4 am so was stil feeling pissed when had to get up for work at 6, must say felt pretty green at work that day it took an eternity!!! longest day in history.  It was a shame that Sian was leaving the next day to travel to Perth via the Great Ocean Road and Phillip Island. She informed us that Phillip Island is actually twinned with the Isle of Wight, double freaky, there is an Isle of Wight hotel, its got a town called Newport. So we will have to go there and see for ourselves , its where we will be going to the Pyramid Rock festival so at least we can say we were in Newport at New Year!! 

Had a couple of nights out recently, been and had few drinks and coffees after work, went out on Thursday night it was so hot Acland St, in St Kilda is the main street with hundreds of cafe, cake shops, gelato, bars etc, it was such a lovely summers night the streets were heaving and we had great fun people watching the sights are always interesting.

Yesterday Toby worked again another weekend!! then we decided to go for a 4 hours walk through Albert park and up to Port Melbourne, saw where the Ferry leaves for Tasmania we would be tempted but its a 12 hr ferry trip abit longer that then IOW ferry crossing!!! Had a quick go on the pokies at the big Crown casino then had a big night out in St Kilda with Sarah and Ollie flatmates and meet up wit couple of lads from Tobys work went to Veldo bar where they had live vocals and some wicked funky dj cool tunes, then sat in the park playing drinking games old skool style then got invited to a lock in at greasy joes bar dancing on the barrels!! random night!! speak soon missing everyone ps. if you look at the board send us a short message so we know you stil love us cheers x x
