On Monday we made our way to Sanur on the east coast and checked into The Janan Villa where we got an upgrade to our own little house: terrace in the front, big living room and kitchen, luxurious bathroom, upstairs bedroom and balcony! And all by the pool which is surrounded by banana trees! We could have it worse!!
While Hailey was sleeping we relaxed by the pool and then went to explore Sanur. A lot more lively here with shops, cafes, restaurants and a beach walkway along all the nice hotels and restaurants!
And then had diner at a simple little Warung right at the beach!

On Tuesday we went to visit Tanah Lot Temple at the south west coast. It's situated on a rock reaching into the ocean. At low tide you can walk over, at high tide it's an island. Quite cool!
Originally we also wanted to go to another beach and another temple but a heavy downpour changed our plans, so we just escaped into some roadside cafe for lunch and went home afterwards. Luckily it didn't rain here so beachwalk and diner again ;)

On Wednesday it was relax day again: spend the morning at the beach, splashing in the water and while Hailey was sleeping in the afternoon it was spa-time for mummy and pool-time for daddy, then afterwards family-pool-time.
In the evening we strolled over the food market and had diner at the beach again.
