The first flight from Munich to Doha went all smooth: friendly flight attendants and seats with baby bassinet in the first row made the 5 hour flight fairly relaxed. A shame the second and longer flight was not: We did not get the baby bassinet that we did book and had to hold a very tired Hailey on our arms for 8 hours, the plane was less spacious, the food worse and the flight attendants less friendly, I almost thought we were flying with a different company altogether!
Oh well, arrived in Singapore some time anyway and were lucky to be picked up by our friend Manon, who then took us to their beautiful house for a swim in the pool and diner.
Hailey was handling the change quite well and went to bed easily, but then at midnight the jetlag called for an hour or two before we got a bit of sleep again.

On first day in Singapore started with nice breakfast and a swim and then we explored the marina a bit. What an unreal city it is! Everything clean, structured, regulated and maintained, a bit like Disney World! But stunning!
Manon dropped us at Marina Bay Sands where we walked to the other side of the bay and took the boat back, had a little snack at the mall (so posh I wouldn't dare to enter one of the shops ;) and then went to the Bar at the Observation Deck, probably the place everyone has in their head when talking about Singapore: huge construction of 3 highrise buildings with a ship on top! And a bar and an infinity pool!! What a show!!! The pool, the view, the people!! Hailey slept through that experience, so we enjoyed our expensive drinks and the views ;)
Later in the evening, Hailey stayed home sleeping and being babysitted by Roger, while Manon took us out for drinks on a rooftop bar at the Marina! Fantastic night skyline!!

Our second day started with a lot of rain and a lazy long morning! In the afternoon we went to see the Gardens by the bay, with a cloud forest inside a huge dome! Afterwards we had Satay and even Hailey ate some, before we went to see the lightshow in the gardens... Disneystyle of course ;)
