Friday 5th - Left Broome this morning and headed down the North Western Coastal Highway to Cape Keraudren. It is a Pilbara Council run property which has no showers only pit toilets so you need to take your own water and food etc. We stayed at the end campsite with a few others and set up the van at dusk after the day on the road. Monday 1st - Arrived in Broome and went to the information centre. Got lots of info about the area and drove around to choose a caravan park. We ended up near Cable beach as this ine had a pool. Had a swim with lots of tomato jellyfish at Cable Beach. It is very salty water but a blue we don't get in Sydney. Stayed the nght in Derby where the tides change is a massive 12 metres! We went out to the jetty at both low and high tide and the change is incredible. The NRL Final was on today so Steve went to the pub and watched Melbourne Storm beat Canterbury Bulldogs - yay! while Gracie and I went to the local pool for a swim. We have had a couple of great days at El Questro. There are not too many people at the moment so we have had a large flat grassed area. Gracie has really improved on her bike and is now riding well without training wheels. The temperature has been in the 40s although not sure of exactly how high it has gotten.
