We left Denham yesterday and headed south again. We stopped in at Shell Beach which is made up of thousands of tiny cockle shells. They are always washing ashore and are regarded as a replenishing resource so they are taken off the beach for uses such as being ground down and put in chicken feed to make the shells hard. We camped the night at Galena Bridge Rest Area on the Murchison River. There were some beautiful black swans and other birds. We visited Kalbar...

On the way to Kalbarri we stayed overnight at Galena Bridge right next to the Murchison River. Peaceful place with lots of Black Swans on the water and a few cygnets.
