Tuesday 14th - Drove down through Tamworth and Gunnedah and headed for Coonabarabran. We have set up camp in the Warrumbungle National Park at Camp Blackman. It is a great camping area for vans which has both powered and unpowered sites. The amenities are great for a National Park and there is plenty of wildlife to see. Left Nambucca this morning and headed up to Coffs Harbour and then over the Dorrigo Mountain. A bit of a climb with the van but we got up the top eventually. Stopped at Ebor Falls in Guy Fawkes National Park for lunch - beautiful falls - most likely the first of many! Headed down the mountain through Armidale and stopped at Uralla Fossicking Area to stay the night. The first of our 'free camps'. Saturday 11th - Woke up after a wild and windy storm at Crescent. Packed up the van and headed up to Nambucca Heads to stay at the Foreshore Caravan Park. Had a quiet afternoon and then walked up to Chris and Brian's (Steve's parents) to surprise Chris for her 70th birthday. Thursday 9th - Arrived at Crescent Head for a couple for nights before we get to Nambucca Heads.
