Thursday 16th - Left Warrumbungle NP this morning and headed down through Gilgandra to Dubbo. We set up the van and headed out to O'Briens to get the windscreen chip fixed - thanks Vicki! We then managed to get a pick slip for the Hilux rego and did some shopping.

Friday 17th - Got up early this morning to go out to the Zoo to do the early morning walk around with volunteers of the Zoo. Little did I know that they only do these walks on Saturday and Sunday and school holidays!! Up early for no reason! had a coffee at McCafe to fill in some time and then were first in line to get into the zoo. We had a free pass into the Zoo as a family at the caravan park had been the day before and they gave us their 2 day pass - Score! We only had to hire bikes. Gracie enjoyed being towed around by Dad - not sure how much riding she actually did...

Gracie and Mum fed a giraffe and we saw heaps of animals. Not sure which one was Gracie's actual favourite as she keeps changing her mind. We saw a really cute Galapagos Tortoise hatchling which was in a warm enclosure and measureed about 12-15cm long.
