Set off early this morning in the rain to try and get a visa for India. We were pleasantly surprised to find there was no queue when we got there. Our good luck however was about to change as our application was rejected twice. By the time we had got it right they were queuing out the door. We also had the bad news that it would not be processed for 10 working days, not good as we need to be in India in 6 working days! Went for a wander around Perth in the afternoon which is a really lovely city followed by a visit to Herrison Island which has a colony of kangaroos. We were really lucky to spot 5 of them happily grazing. We did however have to wait quite a long time to get a video of them hopping across the field (I think Nick thought I was being crazy - but you cannot come to Oz without videoing a jumping Roo!)
