Today is our last day in Shanghai and we are off on the sleeper train this evening. I think Nick is breathing a sigh of relief as he thinks my shopping frenzy will now abate (little does he know I have already checked out the Beijing Fake Markets on the internet!!) We were unable to get a hard sleeper on the train so bought a soft sleeper which means there are four beds (2 bunks in a compartment) not pleasant as the space in tiny and the heating has been cranke...

Today we are off on the sightseeing bus again and it is pouring down. We therefore spent most of the day in the Shanghai Musuem which was warm and dry and I have to admit I had a little nap whilst Nick was exploring the coin expedition. We eventually left and headed for the Jin Mao Tower got there just before nightfall so were awarded with a view in daylight and nightime (although a daytime view wasn't too great due to the clouds!) First stop Nanjing Road where I was after some Louis Vuitton bags; I had done my research beforehand so knew that LV and Gucci fakes were illegal in Shanghai.
