Caught the bus today that goes all around the island on the coast road. Meant to jump off at Waimea Beach but missed the stop and had to get off at the next beach. We were glad we did because the sea was full of Giant Sea Turtles and the beach was practically deserted. I have not been too impressed with Hawaii to date as Waikiki and Honolulu are over developed and over populated but the North Shore was much different. Most of the beaches were quiet and the scenery was much was nicer. Went round the hostel for food in the night and we were invited to go and see the firework display on Waikiki beach with the crowd staying there. Unfortunately they got the wrong time and wrong beach so we missed the fireworks!
