Sitting on mcdonalds in Santa Cruz only for the WiFi. It's hot really warm -probably about 83. Might get in the swimming pool yet. We have the offer of diving lessons in the pool - no chance of getting lost or finding anything. We aren't doing a trip here we have seen enough of volcanoes. We go to Grand Canary tomorrow where 70 get off and 50 get on. Rumour has it that they are mostly german. There is an amazing 89 year old lady on board , travelling alone who had a birthday yesterday and then sang for the guests in the talent show! Some Germans made up a choir but were dreadful. The few Brits , needless to say kept a low profile.
