Now off Pantelleria at 9am-where we should have been yesterday weather has abated down to force 4 but it's too wavy to use the tenders and we are too big to get in the harbour. We may wave at the island and carry on to Tunis. Managing to do an 8am exercise class before breakfast each day although it challenges ones balance somewhat. Dad's just finished his cereal and going back for bacon and eggs but he is sticking to 2 courses and missing out on the croissants ....

The location is a lie the weather was bad again last night and we are miles away from the island .it was force 9 again on the nose so we dived with the bowsprit under the water. 4 sails were torn. We went to bed about 10 and slept through it . We think we will miss out one stop- either Pantelleria or Hammanet waiting for captain to decide. Blowy but sunny on deck so sitting watching the waves.

A rainy day in this pretty town. We are sight seeing by jumping from coffee shop to coffee shop. We are moored in the middle of the old town so haven't far to go back. The ship crew gave us free ponchos but my feet are wet - the Istanbul syndrome but we have 2 hairdryers in the cabin. Sail from here at 7 and a force 8 storm forecast for overnight and heavy rain in Malta - roll on the Caribbean !
