Weve arrived in Cochin after an amazing boat day through the backwaters. We had our own houseboat for the day, it was really relaxing. Spent the last two days wandering around cochin, which is very colonial and doing some shopping. Its quite pretty by the front with all the fishing nets whre you can buy your fish and take it to the restaurant yourself for them to cook. Very fresh! Went for Ayuverda massage today, an experience! Its really a holiday now, lots of pampering! Going to spend the day by a pool tomorrow, top up the tan and then going on a village tour on a boat the next day. We didnt get to do that in Kollam, so going to here. After that, we have a grueling 11 hour train journey (luckily in a sleeper overnight) to Mangalore and another train from there to Gokarna beach.
