After breakfast at the hotel we walked to the War Remnants Museum. There were various displays on the Vietnam War including graphic pictures of victims of mines and deformed people attributed to agent orange use in the war. Outside there were planes, helicopters, tanks and various other weaponry. We slept in a little and then, after breakfast, took a taxi out to the Jade Emperor Pagoda after having some trouble getting the taxi driver and concierge from the hotel to understand where we were wanting to go. After picking up the other two people on our group we made our way to Cu Chi. As with all tours we we first made an unannounced stop at a lacquerware factory staffed by disabled people.We had a brief tour of the factory and were shown how the lacquerware is made which was quite informative before being herded into the shop to be stalked by sales staff trying to get you to buy their wares. We arrived back in Ho Chi Minh City about 6.30pm after our trip to Cu Chi and went out for dinner. We were too tired to look for much so ate at a nearby KFC which just happened to have two kids' birthday parties going on upstairs. Noisest KFC ever, even the guy who served us was cringing at the noise.After dinner we went back to the hotel for a shower and sleep.
