Well this port was not for us!
Awake at 0500 with the worst headache I have ever experienced. Whether it was not enough water, the sulphur smell or just going to happen anyway - who knows but bed ridden I was.
Nurse Tony did the best he could but once the vomiting - every time I moved started - it was time to get some help so off to the sickbay. One needle in the Butt and some tablets and I was right as rain and ready for dinner! You can not keep a good woman down!
Just to keep the record straight, a little bit about the port we did not see - Napier.
Napier is a seaport located in Hawker's Bay on the eastern coast of the North Island. It is the nexus of the largest wool centre in the Southern Hemisphere. It is also a large producer of apples, pears and stone fruit. Also a wonderful grape growing and wine making area. Napier is a popular tourist city with a unique concentration of Art Deco architecture. those we spoke to who did go ashore said it was one of the prettiest places they had seen....oh well....next time
Early to bed.
