We are still here in Philly! Off to visit Washington DC tomorrow for a couple of days. Really looking forward to it! We still havn't done much here except sleep, eat and drink but it's been cool. We went for a proper day out in Philadelphia yesterday and did some sight-seeing. We went on a horse and cart ride (their equivalent to a tour bus here!), that was really nice. Philadelphia is extremely patriotic!! There are American flags everywhere you look. So we found out about the history of America, the Declaration, Constitution, Independance Hall, the Liberty Bell, etc, etc... Don't ask me about any of it when I get home coz it all went in one ear and out the other (never was very interested in History at school!??) but it was very nice to see it all. After our wander around Philly the others left me and Charlie to it and as usual we ended up in the pub! He he! We have found a chain of Irish pubs here called Kildare's and are quite fond of them!! Many pints later we headed home on the train! We were very good to leave before the karaoke started though!?! Today the weather has got back to being nice and sunny again so we sat outside by the pool and chilled out and ate a gorgeous meal cooked by Belinda - New Zealand Lamb Shank... MMMMM! A very good reason to go out there and visit her some time! Also today me and Charlie have finalised the rest of our trip. I'm quite sad about that coz I can see the end and don't want to come home yet but moneywise its probably a good idea. Plus Charlie has to go back to college coz she failed...ooops! Anyway, we are staying in San Fransisco with our friend Amy from camp from 8th-12th then staying with one of our campers (Sarah) 12th-17th. After that we are heading to Anaheim nr LA for 2 nights and we are going to Disneyland all day on 18th!!!! Yay!! After that we have 3 nights booked in Hollywood, taking us up to Friday 22nd Sept. So excited to be staying in Hollywood! Our hostel is right on Hollywood Blvd and apparently we wont get much sleep there but it sounds great! It looks like we will be flying home on Friday 22nd overnight so will be home on the Saturday lunchtime.... We havn't booked the flight yet but are fairly certain that is what we'll do. That leaves 2 and a half weeks out here... Better get partying and shopping!!! Will write again soon to tell you all about Washington and probably put some more photo's on.
