Hello new subjects that are reading this blog,

Our excitement reached to us by realizing it's the day to leave to South Africa! We gathered at Texas School for the Deaf (TSD) before leaving for IAH (International Airport of Houston. During three-hour trip to IAH, many jokes and stories were shared there. It's increased our bondage between together. We are so excited when we arrived IAH, because we knew that we for certain that we will enter airplane this time. We came to IAH preparing to leave to Dubai last Saturday but we failed to board on the plane because South Africa have their own special law that requires every child/ minor going to South Africa to show their birth certificate and their parent permission form to show a proof that allows school staff to take minors to South Africa.

We eagerly dropped off our bags and arrived at gate. We discovered that we were too early! We used that time as "tour" time to tour around IAH. When the time of entering airplane came, we eagerly got our go-pros and backpacks ready and entered the airplane! That point is a point of sign that officially began our trip to South Africa!

Firstly, we had to fly to Dubai to switch airplane to fly to South Africa. The flight to Dubai is really long and mind tolling to us because we rode airplane for 14 hours straight to arrive Dubai! During the flight to Dubai, we got two meals (dinner, and breakfast). Airplane served catfish or chicken to us, most of us picked chicken because we were too used to catfish because we eat it so often at Texas! Most of us struggled to sleep in airplane because we were too used to our comfortable/ soft, and maybe bouncy beds! Sleeping in long airplane trip forced us to enter the real world of traveling!

At morning, airplane served us a breakfast, they offered us a scrambled egg, with potatoes mixed spinach as side. Finally, our airplane landed in Dubai! During landing, we saw the world tallest building! It's ???? was so tall and beautiful at same time! It grabbed our attention whole time during landing. We got off the airplane and got shocked by what Dubai's airport looked like! Dubai's airport looked like a big mall inside the airport! There's so many different shops, offering many different things to buy! We settled down near our next airplane gate and most of us went to McDonalds in airport to buy our "dinner" or snacks.

We finally boarded our airplane and most of us went to sleep in instant to gather our energy for a long day tomorrow! Later, we woke up to eat the dinner that airplane offered us, they offered us a choice of beef in mushroom sauce or creole chicken. Many of us gotten creole chicken, and it tasted so good that food ran out right away! We snugged in blanket that provided by airplane and went to sleep while thinking for a big day tomorrow!

Marcus: It was a pleasure to drive everyone from TSD to IAH twice! Glad the flight from Texas to Dubai and to South Africa was a smooth flight. From what you typed about Dubai, it is an experience to be in and see what Dubai is like especially inside the airport!
