Day 10

just a day

Another nice sunny day today, though clouds rolled in and it got windy and a bit chilly today, but all in all a nice day. NZ weather is really odd.

I left Collingwood(the golden bay) Which btw, was not very golden at all, I was expecting a gold sandy awesome epic beach, and got none. There was however a side trip north I was told to take to a place called Farewell spit. I got as close as I could to said spit, but could go no further, it was blocked by really harsh gravel and dirt roads. You can google the spit, it's pretty cool looking, though I never made it there.

So, I turned around and headed SW towards Reefton. I passed epic mountains all day today, and mostly farmland which is what most of NZ is made up of. Still millions of cows and sheep everywhere.

I don't have much to write about today, sorry. Tomorrow I head due East to the city of Christchurch, where I will be picking up Ashley later that night. Can't wait!
