Day Forty-two 25.4.05 We packed up today, but before leaving Alvor we went to the beach as the weather had vastly improved. It was really hot and we had a good sunbathing session before heading along the coast to Parque Natural da Ria Formosa. The plan was to stay here and take in the wildlife. We couldn't find the campsite so we thought we would head onto Ilha de Tavira, an island with good swimming apparently, we didn't realise that the camping available on the island was only for foot passengers carrying their kit, no good for all our gear. We then went on to Fuzeta, we found the site and James joined a short queue to sign in. The person in front was complaining about something and the receptionist was looking really stressed. She then broke her conversation and asked me to give her a passport for each person staying. She said that we could park anywhere and come back to book in formally. We drove around the site but it was too busy and cacky to stay, we got the passports back and a little worried we travelled to Calico. The site was a bit off the beaten track but is much nicer and there is a pool too. We will travel back to explore the places we have passed as we are now on the boarders of Spain and we don't feel like we have been in Portugal very long.
