got into salt lake city late ( typical amtrak!!) and picked up a hire car, they has double booked the cars out so we ended up with an free upgrade (o no!!) which was cool.stopped at Grand Teton National Park on the way to yellowstone park. the park is beautiful, we are only here for one night now and one on the way back from yellowstone. anyhow, set up camp and went for a walk around the area. it's right on the lake with the mountains all around. stunning. that night we made tea and on the next pitch to ours was a deer happily munching away. she was so close but didn't seemed bothered my us at all!! by this point i am beginging to get a bit worried about all the talk of bears. everywhere around the camp site there are posters or bear bins so bit of an uneasy nights sleep!!!
