hey, having a great time here at the foot of three active volcanoes! yesterday we did the tongariro crossing which has been voted the best one day hike in new zealand, so we thought we'd give it a go. it had been cancelled twice so it was third time lucky when we were given the go ahead. it was a beautiful hike between mt tongoriro and mt doom from lord of the rings. which looks amazing! the hike itself was pretty nasty in places as the weather decided to take a ...
