Along drive to Albany through many trees! Did a tree top walk in Nornalup through eucalyptus trees. I stood in a tree and our accommodation is in the trees! Our room is called tree tops. The owners (2 ladies) have a pet kangaroo which they adopted after its mother was shot by a farmer. Name sammy joe. May try and hold her tomorrow, she is carried around in a sling to mimic her mothers pouch. She looks huge to still be in the pouch but they stay there until about 18 months old. She is about a year old and is still being fed a bottle. We have seen lots of road signs telling us to be careful of crossing kangaroos but not seen any. We are now on the southern ocean and it is a bit cool tonight - 16 deg. Had to put a cardi on!
