Saz's Canadian Odyssey
Now THAT is the way to travel! Left Buenos Aires at about 7pm on Wednesday on the bus to Iguassu Falls. Huge seats which reclined nearly all the way back, blankets & pillows, 3 movies, food and drinks - so spoilt! It was 20 hours so fully appreciated the luxury! Pretty different from the buses in Asia anyway! Hooked up with English girls Laura and Nic who I met on our night out in Bs As. Now staying at the Hostel Inn. We arrived at about 11am yesterday and went straight off to the Argentinian side of the falls. Am attempting to download some pictures but they really don´t do it justice, they were absolutely incredible. So huge and noisy. Shame it was overcast. Sunnier today and we´ll be heading over to the Brazilian side this afternoon. Slight change of plan, due to non existant spanish and being on my own, decided not to go through Paraguay where apparently backpackers are rarer than jaguars, and stay with the girls and go to the Pantanal in Brazil on the way to Bolivia. Its wetlands with masses of wildlife apparently. It should be fun but doubt there will be any internet access nearby! We´re leaving this evening for the bus ride north. Its getting warmer now, pretty humid and I have my shorts on finally!! Will get lots of pictures hopefully and post them on when I can. Lots of love xxx
