Just a short note today. In Amman just now but leaving to go back down south again tomorrow. Went to the Dead Sea today. Swimming was pretty bizarre and definitely an experience!

Was in Jerash, north of Amman, yesterday. It was an ancient Roman city and was pretty interesting to walk around.

By the way, its cold here. I have both jumpers on, a scarf and socks for the first time! And it rained yesterday evening! Not so different from England eh?! However its still pretty hot during the day and always blazing sunshine!

Sorry, no photos. It just takes so bloody long every time that i've given up! If you're desperate (i'm sure no one really is!) i'll put them on when I get home in a couple of weeks time.

Oooh, forgot to say - Petra really was truly awesome! Highly recommend it to anyone who is in the area. Did loads of uphill hiking with some great people and my legs ached by the time I got here!
