The new set of photos are beautiful. The hot springs in Hamner sound lovely and relaxing. The whale watching was magical - the sea looks so blue! Looks like you both had a great time.
Enjoy the next part of your trip.

Those whales looked cool. Imagine swimming with them instead of the dolphins. They'd spout you right out of the sea.
Big love to you both

Hi Susi and Adrienne,
Looks like you're having a fab time and your wildlife photography is very impressive! Here's another phrase for you: "no dramas". Use it and people will think you're locals!

Hey Susi and Adrienne,
Glad to see that you are still having a fab time. Given half a chance we'll all be over soon! Kaikoura is an amazing place.
Hope the worm is having as good a time as you are and enjoyed the whale watching too!
Life here is grand but raining and very dark - lovely for leaving work so you are certainly not missing anything in sunny scotland!
Take care

Good morning, young ladies.
Oooooh! I'm so envious! Your trip to Wellington looked fabby. All those blue seas and skies and wet, furry animals. And your photo-blog is soooooo impressive. (Somewhere around Wellington, I have some extremely long-lost relatives who farm - Robertsons. maternal grandfather's first cousin or something like that - originally from Forfar. If you run into any and they're loaded, please call me immediately.)
Weekend here was moist (understatement) and I managed to avoid chopping-off my right leg while thunking firewood. Just got a bruised knee-eeeeeurgh! ...but it didn't stop Ma'n'pa McDermid and I taking a nice walk round to Mark's house in the woods nearby. Good food, good blethers and almost as exciting as a trip to New Zealand. We saw loads of seals, whales, dolphins, hedgehogs and Border Terriers en-route - well mostly Border Terriers actually. (They were both asking for you, Adrienne, by the way.) (Editor's comment: ' No they weren't - all they were looking for was food.") Ach, weel. Ye ken foo it is. xxxxxxxxxxxx
