Happy Monday morning!

Thanks Pam for suggesting a visit to the Bone Dude. Enjoyed spending a few hours learning the tradition of bone carving and chatting to John, the Bone Dude himself. Following 7 years working next door at an art centre for people with mental health problems, he set up alone and now teaches community groups and tourists bone carving. We found his outlook and attitude to his work refreshing and inspiring and are pleased with our hand crafted souvenirs. Meanwhile, we're still under the influence of jet lag and trying to find somewhere that will serve us a salad or something. Large portions of meat and Carb seem to be standard!
