Ao Nang was again very touristy, but had a nice bustly feel to it, without feeling too crowded. We found an ultra cheap guesthouse to stay at, which wasn't the nicest place, but served well for our budget! Monday we caught a long tail boat to Railay, a series of stunning beaches surrounded by looming cliffs and lush vegetation. It is probably the most beautiful place we have seen so far in Thailand. We spent the day at one of the beaches, then caught a boat back to Ao Nang just before 6pm, to have some dinner and hunt for some accommodation on the net for New Years Eve. We wern't successful, and so spent most of Tuesday looking for accommodation again. We eventually found some on an island called Koh Samui, reserved a room for a few nights and booked our transport (bus then ferry) to get there the next day.
