Woke to a very misty morning so we were really glad we´d spent the day on the beach yesterday. Peniche has a ferry that runs out to some islands off the coast famous for puffins, cormorants, etc. so we thought we´d be nature lovers yet again and set off in search of some winged creatures. After having this place recommended and of course the trusty rough guide, got to Coimbra in the heat of the midday sun and after much searching found a safe and decent enough parking place, you wouldn´t believe how much importance is placed on such things when your car is your house.
