Got into what was i think the most unfriendliest camping site, potentially in the world, Italy definitely. We have been really lucky with most of the camp site owners/workers being fantastic in Italy. The one from Lake Maggiore even gave us his address in Sicily and said to call him should we be in the neighbourhood.

There were no addresses exchanged at this site, and it seemed Grumpy Giovani's attitude seems to infect the residents. We were over it so instead of staying a couple of nights in Bologna sampling its famioso culinary delights, decided after 1 night to hightail it to Florence and see what all the fuss was about.
