Well and truely on the surf coast but alas nothing. Decided to skip Bordeaux the town but we did drive through the Medoc region on the Gironde peninsula which is part of the Bordeaux region.Cap Ferret is a lovely place and there were no people to speak of on this beach. Loads of surf potential for those out there interested. Plenty of opportunities for righthand sand points if there was any swell. Desperate for some beach considering how Ravi Shastri the summer has been in the UK this year. During the day checked out a cool castle town in Le Mont St Michel (piccies attached) and saw more camper vans than you could poke a stick at.
