Day 14. Grey skies today but warm and a bit humid. I sorted out our access to the Sydney Morning Herald App via their new subscription system. It only took two emails and two phone calls. Day 13. A no drive day for me. Started with a long beach walk, then a leisurely breakfast, washing stuff, guitar practice, reading, crotcheting, more reading. Day 12. Another lovely day dawned in Townsville as we packed up and headed north through Ingham and Tully to Mission Beach. We drove into some misty drizzle as we drove into Mission Beach but we saw our first cassowary by the side of the road. How lucky was that! Nowhere to stop and take a photo unfortunately.
