After our Brekkie we hopped on our SUV's which truly deserve that name and drove further north to the only saltwater we were allowed to swim in, the Champagne Pools. A couple of eroded rock pools on the beach which frequently get flooded with fresh sea water. Packed all our stuff, food and water and beers onto the beaten up Land Cruisers and headed for the ferry to Fraser Island. The worlds largest sand island (75mi by 15mi).
