Decided to take advantage of the nice hostel amenities and relaxed by the pool. Good time for a much needed catching up with my diary as well! Besides the pool this hostel also offers an observation deck, a small theater showing 5 movies every day, a full bar and a bistro which offers breakfast and dinner. Today i took the city bus to the Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary. Queensland is the only state which allows people to hold one of those fuzzy cute little creatures ;) This sanctuary also takes care of other animals such as Tasmanian Devils, Wombats, various Birds of Prey, Dingoes or Platypus. Early in the morning i left town to go on another Greyhound bus. Or so i thought. The bus doesn't show up but a different tour company, the "OZ Experience", miraculously has my name on their list. Turns out what i thought was the competition is owned by Greyhound as well. Just a smaller bus.
