Hey yo yo, yip yip, whoop whoop, oh my gosh, G-day mates!!

So starting from the off, after a mad rush/crush through London and several hours travelling we realised we had forgotten our scuba cards!! They are now hopefully on their way to Heather's friend in Adelaide. Then the hotel had overcharged us which took over half an hour to sort. Next day at the airport one of my bank cards was declined to which was a HUMAN error which means I dont have this card to use! Good job I have several others. The cake Mum had given us to take for the airport had come with a knife which I forgot to take out of my bag before attempting to go through security!!! Not for the best as you can imagine however I managed to avoid the rubber glove search much to my happiness and surprise, guess there is a first time for everything.

As all had kicked off in Bangkok we were to be diverted to Singapore for our 1.5 hour stop to get off and back on the plane after another security check. After more waiting it was lucky we had managed to get exit seats so were spread out quite comfortably on the flight to relax.

After another mini flight we arrived in Alice Springs to be greeted by several thousand flies!!! We then had to find our way to the campervan office which we finally got to and was at that point told we shouldnt be out at night as we might get abused/assaulted or accosted!!! We did however go to the supermarket to stock up and then we got a McDonalds and set off to the campsite to get settled. It was an early night as the 6 hour drive lay ahead of us to Ayres Rock the next day!
