January 7th - 9th Port Macquarie

Off to Port Macquarie today so we were up and out early to catch the greyhound. Took us about five hours to get there and then a looooong walk to get to our campsite but we finally made it. We are now pros at putting up the tent (you can all insert any scouting jokes here!). Was a lovely campsite with a swimming pool, nice BBQ areas and ourwe pitch was about 200 metres from a beautiful little beach.

So as you can imagine we pretty much spent two days chilling on the beach, cooking up a storm on the BBQ and generally lazing around. We even managed to see wild dolphins just over the break wall and went to a Koala Hospital (the only one of its kind in Oz) which was amazing - http://www.koalahospital.org.au .
